Your father, a hero to America as are all soldiers, did a great thing for many people. I'm glad you were able to see him before he passed on. My grandfather, a WWII soldier, recently passed away. I was astounded. This man who had been there all my life was ... gone. He was always strong, and he was the head of our family. When he died I had to step up, and be strong for my family. As I am sure you will have to, but for now take the time you have to remember how much he has done for you. It will help the grieving process. Dad loved telling WWII Stories. <BR/><BR/>Thanks to 1SGT Darryl Eddings from Dallas and MSGT Craig Colton I was able to get from Dallas to Abilene before Dad passed away. 20 Minutes later he left us.
